Hi everyone! I have some really exciting news!! Yesterday was Independence Day in America, and there is a parade/marathon outside my house, and this year I decided to sell lemonade and donate 95% percent to SOS elephants (In case you're wondering, I spent my 5% on an ice cream cone), and I think I wrote somewhere on my website that I was donating to Save the Elephants, so I am sorry if you were misinformed. Anyway, click "read more" to hear more about my stand and the charity, as well as see some pictures!
Ok, so I took these pictures while I was making the lemonade the day before July 4th.
Here is the sign I made! As you can see, I sold regular lemonade for $1 and soft frozen lemonade for $2. And as you can see in the second picture, I stapled the sign to some cardboard because it has been a little windy recently. The left picture is all the lemons I squeezed (it was hard work! haha), and the right picture is a lemon. The bottom is the juice I got from 8 lemons which I had bought at a produce market. |
Thanks to everyone who bought lemonade or frozen lemonade-- I sold out in less than an hour! I will be donating $34-- I wish I could have made more to sell but I didn't have the right ingredients and the streets were closed for the parade. Please leave a comment if you saw my stand or bought from me! :) If you would like to donate, click here, and if you would like to learn more about SOS Elephants click here.
