Hey there LTE-ers! There is going to be a new summer layout I'm working on right now!! :)
So sorry I have not been posting! I think I haven't . . . I just usually have about three scheduled for posting, but I just got busy. This didn't even happen around the holidays! Anyway, you might be wondering about the title. First of all, what do you mean "Mini Post Week 1"? Isn't just supposed to say "Mini Post"? Well, not today. I will schedule this post for 9:00 PM on Saturday like I always do, but today is Wednesday. I have lots of things to catch up on, and I don't have time to also make a full post. So, what happens with mini posts is that when we get to four weeks in total, that would mean I am a whole month behind on blogging. YOU comment or I will have a friend of mine choose any alterations I need to make on the website. WHEN and IF we get to 12 months, (which I reaaaally hope not) I will put text under our logo picture and add "A Website Crafted by Viewers", because you guys have been working on this site for a year. But, who even knows if we'll get that far? It's all under my command, although, not really. As the years tick by, though, I am going to get busier and busier and it is possible that could happen.
I don't know where that came from. Hai? Ha! Anyway, I feel like I can be very silly on this blog, because, well, isn't that a good thing? It draws people to my blog, and then they want to come back again, and at the same time, raising elephant awareness?
Remember that post when I did a smiley face and I said it's unprofessional?
:) :) :P [:->
The last one was my favorite. [:->
Today I am doing a mini post, which means two posts are coming out today (The day it was first published). It also means that the subject I'm writing about isn't that big that I have to write a WHOLE post on it, yet the matter is small enough that it doesn't deserve to be on the homepage. Actually, I probably will put it on the home page, just not in words. (In a picture)
A few weeks ago, maybe even a month ago, I posted that any blogger that owns a website (preferred website with Weebly) is welcome to blog somewhat on elephants. All you have to do is email firstname.lastname@example.org proving that you own your website, and I will have to visit it to see that it is a blog, of course, so it must be public. You will also have to email me your post. It can be in any format (email, word doc., google doc., write space, etc.) except it can NOT be in a format such as a powerpoint or excel, etc. Ok, I should probably put up the notice on the homepage. And I have to write a DIY. Why do I always tell you what I have to do next? I don't know. Haha. Comment if you like this theme or the holiday theme better. Also comment which is your favorite smiley face.
LTE is coming out with a magazine! Yay! I hope you all had great holidays? That reminds me . . . I need to change the theme back to it's original! Well, not the original. The original was a little weird. But the one before the holidays. While you're reading this, it's probably already changed because I'm writing this on Christmas day. So, about that mag! I'm giving you a sneek peek on what the first issue is on. The featured articles, of course. The featured article is about elephant empathy. It might take a couple months to set up the first issue, but we'll get the hang of it and it will come out every two months. Well, i have to go set up the new theme. Bye! I apoligize that this is was so short. I promise I'll do a DIY next time!
The blog page is getting a makeover today, and we thought you would like to be there to see it.
This is what it looks like.
